EXAMINATIONS

Danceworks Sydney trains students in the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus. The RAD is one of the most prestigious and recognised ballet training organisation in the worldwide.

Students from Primary level upwards can participate in annual RAD Examinations which set goals for students to aspire to and reward improvement. 

Pre-Primary: 

At this level students partake in a Class Award. Attendance to one class per week is necessary, two is optional.

Primary & Grade 1 – Grade  5:

In order to participate in an RAD exam students must attend two classes per week.

Intermediate Foundation – Advanced 2/Solo Seal:

In order to participate in an RAD exam students must attend two classes per week.

UNIFORM

Parents & Tots/Pre-School: 

Children can wear what they like as long as they won’t trip in their outfit.

Ballet shoes are recommended. Barefoot or socks are also acceptable.

Pre-Primary & Primary:

Boys

    •    White vest

    •    Blue or black shorts - 

    •    White socks

    •    White canvas ballet shoes with white elastic (not split sole)

Girls

    •    Pink leotard (Capezio  TC0045C) and skirt (Capezio N1417C) 

    •    Pink ballet socks or tights

    •    Pink canvas ballet shoes with pink elastic (not split sole)

Uniform can be bought at Ballet Emporium - 90 Bronte Rd, Bondi Junction

Danceworks Sydney Tracksuit comes in all sizes. Enquire at the studio to be sized.
